Join host Tom Riddell as he welcomes author Nita DeBorde to The Writers Lounge. Sit back and relax as Nita discusses what it's like to be a writer and she will also talk to us about her book: Ghost Agents.

Claire Abelard works as a candy store clerk on Galveston Island, off from the coast of Texas, but she does a lot more in her life than pulling taffy and fillings bags of sweets for her customers. She also leads ghost tours on the island by night but these two positions are just a cover for her real job. Claire's real job is working as an agent for the Bureau for Historical Preservation, a clandestine organization that "monitors and assists energy projections, or entities more commonly known as ghosts." But, there is another secret covert organization lurking around that wants to "dispatch" or kill these energy projections and Claire is hoping to stop this from happening. The problem is; the Bureau questions if this other nefarious organization even exists and Claire has to try and convince them, even though some of the agents are her family. She soon learns that she's the only one who has the ability to stop the disappearances that have already claimed several of the beloved projections on the island.

This is the first installment of a series of books for Ghost Agents and this story is a keeper. It will amuse and it will also provide history, mystery, romance and a desire to keep reading about these wonderful and interesting characters. I loved it!
