Fire damaged much of the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the work to restore it would be extremely time consuming, but a team of excavators are stunned when they find an unmarked sarcophagus under the floor of the cathedral. Enter the CIA. Ridley Samarus and her new partner Henri receive the assignment to investigate. They were not prepared for what awaited them; a thousand year old malevolent spirit called a jinn. It escapes in a fury of dark smoke and flaming eyes and is on a mission to free its demonic masters from captivity. These masters have the power to reek havok and to destroy the world. Ridley and Henri travel the world chasing after the jinn but there are others who are looking to take advantage of the supernatural powers of the jinn; The Knights Templar.
The race is on to prevent a global cataclysm and it all builds up to happen at one location: The Temple Mount.
