TONIGHT: Listen to The African History Network Show, Monday, Jan. 12th, 2012 8pm-11pm EST.  We'll discuss "The Distortion Of The Image Of African-American Women".  Why does the media usually portray African-American women as being oversexed, obsessed with physical attributes like hair and makeup, obese, single, bitter, etc.? We'll discuss a recent article from The Final Newspaper that asks this question. 
In our 1st hour we'll be joined by Dr. Bruce Landers from the Universal Temple Of Peace And Love about their community fundraising efforts including their new book "The Urban Ritualist: A Guide To Practicing Ritual In An Urban Setting" and much more. 
In our 3rd hour we'll do an update on the North Carolina Eugenics case and their attempt to compensate approximately 2,000 survivors of a forced sterilization program called Eugenics from that occurred from 1929-1977.
