1) The Taskforce On Police Accountability’s report  has released the an Executive Summary of their blistering report about the CPD and it states that the CPD must first face its Racist past and change the way it handles excessive force allegations before true reforms can be made.  2) Rep. Bobby Rush of Illinois apologized yesterday for voting for the 1994 Crime Bill and said that he is ashamed of his vote.  3) Bernie Sanders Campaign Manager was interviewed and defended Sen. Bernie Sanders voting for the 1994 Crime Bill while a member of the U.S. House of Representatives stating that he spoke out against the bill on the floor in the House of Rep. but voted for it because it protected battered women and the assault rifle ban.
