Most Students don't know Slavery was the cause of the Civil War -Michael Imhotep

Michael Imhotep host of The African History Network Show discussed a new study from The Southern Poverty Law Center that proves how U.S. children are being lied to the about why the Civil War was fought and how Slavery was the central reason.  This type of misinformation makes it impossible for people to understand what is taking place today. 

Also discussed is the Dr. Carter G. Woodson and the origins of African American History Month (Black History Month).
