Michael Imhotep host of The African History Network show interviewed Dr. Claud Anderson on Mon. Feb. 19th about "DACA Immigration 'Dream Bill' vs. Native Black Americans". This was a fantastic interview and a lot history was covered.
In 1790, this nation has perceived itself to be the home for immigrants seeking the“American Dream” of free Indian land, free Blacks labor and other un-earned benefits, rights and privileges. Socioeconomic analysis reveal Native Blacks, the descendants of slaves, have been irreparably damaged by anti-Black immigration policies. Native Black Americans are a for gotten people in contemporary immigration debates. Neither national political parties, nor civil rights entities inject the socioe-conomic welfare of Blacks into the immigration dialogue, because racematters is an uncomfortable and taboo topic. Contrary, public policies of political correctness, the well being of native Blacks, whose labor was the engine that drove economic development in this “land of immigrants,” must take priority over this nation’s un-ending flow of immigrants seeking the “so-called American Dream.”
