In the spring 1955, the Pioneer Cemetery in Spencerport was bulldozed, much to the surprise of the townspeople. Not too long after, the same thing happened to St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. What are the stories behind both events? Was this common practice to disturb the final resting places of our ancestors? We are the stewards of their legacies, we should do better.
