Marc Berlin is a Native Long Islander who was born with cerebral palsy. Certainly not a disadvantage, but quite the opposite. Having endured over twenty surgical procedures in his early years, Marc gained insight into our medical system. This fueled his desire and determination to succeed in life! Besides personally having much experience with the healthcare system since birth, Marc gained a greater understanding of it as the caregiver to his mother. In December 2015, she was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma (GBM). This is the worst kind of brain cancer, which is usually terminal within 18 months. From this Marc started The Marc Patient Advocacy Service. Their mission is to be a resource for clients while at the same time providing clients with the supplies and services needed for them to live independently, and in the comfort of their own home. Their aim, and motto, is to always provide "good help to ensure good health"
