Blues Rockers Deltaphonic and singer/composer/producer and songwriter Ray Powers keep the 'Quarantunes' coming on this week's TheDavidBowersAwards.

Deltaphonic is  a fresh New Orleans-baset group that Robert Fontenot of OffBeat Magazin says "merges New Orleans funk, soul, and hill country blues-influenced rock n’ roll into a deliciously gritty sound that exists in a realm of its own.  You can tell they live the music and they know how to relate it to the listeners.  Andrew T. Weekes showcases the band's new lineup as a versatile trio with a heavy groove.

Singer/Songwriter/Producer and instrumentalist, Ray Powers is a three-time winner of the Billboard Songwriter Award and interned in the Brooklyn Doo Wop groups.  Blessed with perfect pitch and a Father 'in the business,' Ray did his first tour at age 15.  After moving into the producer's chair, his first pitch was a son he had sung and co-wrote: 'We Were Meant To Be', which was sent to Warner Reprise Records in Burbank, CA for Chris Isaak.  A celebrated track record, he brings it all to our couch.

We also preview "Carbon Copy" by The Midnight Echo.   Listen on BlogTalkRadio Sunday at 2PM EDT/11AM Pacific/6PM UTC or on BlogTalkRadio archives ANYTIME and please RE-POST for your friend so that they can listen, too!
