Undra Mayes , one of the first Black stewardess for National Air Lines, later to merge with Pan Am, will give her comments on the newly released docucmentary co-produced by Sarah Colt and Helen Dobrowski. Undra is featured in the film and gives and outsanding account of what it was like to be one of the first Black stewardess for National and Pan Am. The film was aired on PBS on February 20th and has been getting positive reviews. Fly With Me, tells the story of the trials and tribulations of the stewardess and how we fought for our civial rights.
Please join me for part three interview ( #1Patricia Banks-Edmiston and #2 Patricia Ireland) on the comments from a few of the powerful heroes (pictures of some of the other women are posted on The Fly Girl Show banner) that paved the way for equal rights as women and stewardesses.
