New York's First African American Police Officer 1812 - 1889, Moses P. Cobb.
Jacob Morris, Harlem Historical Society Dir. Will discuss Patrolman Cobb's illustrious Career and his Street Signing Ceremony. On October 29 an unseasonal snowstorm did not prevent the keynote speakers, commissioner Ray Kelly and former NYPD Captain, Senator Eric Adams from attending this very historical event .
