Two extraordinary historian activists Dr.Leonard Jeffries and Attorney Michael Coard in a discussion about their struggle to preserve American history through the inclusion of the african american experience.Dr.Jeffries endured public ridicule for a speech he gave regarding his struggle with the NY State curriculum committee. Attorney Coard succeeded in forcing the Museum, the Philadelphia's President's House to include the  enslaved people who sucessfully escaped from Washington.

Dr. Jeffries lectures 1. The Statue of Liberty and it's new rival the The 164-foot structure -- about a foot taller than the Statue of Liberty -- shows the figures of a man, a woman and a child, arms outstretched, facing the Atlantic Ocean.

You have Thomas Edison And  Lewis Latimer, who was his partner.Latimer's carbon-filament invention helped to make the light bulb functional. Then..Granville Woods and Graham Bell. They were involved with communications. Woods  a principled Black man said, "I'm not going to be bought off ," and he set up the Woods Electric Co. out in OH. And took Edison to court twice for stealing his patents and won.
