h20 Aaron Tesfaye, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, William Paterson University of New Jersey, Wayne, New Jersey, USA. Professor Tesfaye, obtained the Ph.D. degree in Political Science in 1996, from Claremont Graduate University, Claremont, CA., and the MPA in Public Affairs, 1982; B.A. Economics, 1974, from the California State University, Fresno. His fields of interest and teachings are International Political Economy, Comparative Politics, and Public Policy. Aaron Tesfaye is Fulbright Scholar (academic year 2010-2011) in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He has also traveled widely conducting research on the Bolivarian Movement in Venezuela, 2005 as well as impact of globalization in India in 2006. He is the author of Political Power and Ethnic Federalism: the Struggle for Democracy in Ethiopia, Lanham; MD: University of America Press, 2002; “The Ethiopian Revolution of 1974,” in the International Encyclopedia of Revolution and Protest. I. Ness, Ed., Oxford University Press, 2009. He has published numerous articles on state-society relations, environmental issues and hydro-politics in Africa in the Beijing -Africa Review, the International Journal of Ethiopian Studies, UCLA’s Globalization Center, and is a contributor to ZNet, Community Alliance of Central California, and Pambazuka News, South Africa.
