Nuyorican Poet , Writer Caroline Rothstein

Caroline Rothstein is a multimedia journalist based in New York City. She received her Master of Science from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2010, and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in Classical Studies, with a minor in Theatre Arts, in 2006. Caroline has produced multimedia and print stories for websites and publications such as SmartMoney.com and the “Queens Chronicle.” Her writing has been featured in literary journals and anthologies. She especially enjoys writing about culture, arts, and women’s issues. In addition to her written work, Caroline is spoken word poet who competes and performs at venues and colleges around the country. She is a member of the 2010 Nuyorican Poet’s Cafe slam team, which placed second at the 2010 National Poetry Slam in St. Paul, Minnesota.
