Trainer Graham Motion talks Irish War Cry

Trainer Graham Motion won the Kentucky Derby a few years back with Animal Kingdom, who caught the racing world by surprise.

He's not likely to catch anyone by surprise this time if Irish War Cry wins it. The New Jersey-bred son of Curliln has won four of five starts, three in stakes company. While the lone blemish on his record was a dismal effort in the Grade 2 Fountain of Youth, he followed that up with an impressive win the Grade 2 Wood Memorial at Aqueduct.

Motion sat down with Gary Quill of The Racing Biz to discuss Irish War Cry and what the next week holds.
