Off to the Races featuring Michelle Lovell and Jeremiah O'Dwyer

Off to the Races Radio powered by The Racing Biz returned Saturday, September 17 with an action-packed one hour program.

This week's show featured visits from trainers Michelle Lovell and Jeremiah O'Dwyer and the kickoff of our new weekly feature focusing on harness racing at Shenandoah Downs.

Lovell, who had a string at Colonial Downs this summer, conditions promising two-year-old Damon's Mound. Damon's Mound, winner of the Grade 2 Saratoga Special, runs in the G3 Iroquois at Churchill Downs Sept. 17. O'Dwyer is the trainer of four-year-old Sibelius, last-out winner of the Lite the Fuse at Pimlico and pointed at the Grade 2 Phoenix at Keeneland Oct. 7.

Also joining the gang was Dr. Scott Woogan. Woogan, a gastroenterologist, is also a harness driver, and he updated us on the scene at Shenandoah Downs.

And of course, legendary horseplayer Derby Bill Watson also joined the team.
