 Meet Shannen:  Actress, producer, model & inspirational speaker, Shannen Fields was born and raised in a small south Georgia town where life was simple and sweet. Despite those small town roots, Shannen’s childhood dreams and desires were to do something in life much larger than her.In 2006, Shannen’s dreams were realized in her feature film debut Facing the Giants, where she played the lead female role Brooke Taylor. The movie was released in 441 theaters across the United States by Sony Pictures through Provident Films and Samuel Goldwyn Films. After the opening weekend, Facing the Giants was the #1 ranked movie in theaters by Yahoo movie users. Facing the Giants also had a theatrical run that lasted for 17 weeks and sold around 3 million DVDs that were distributed in 57 countries around the world in multiple languages.
