PhotobucketPhotobucket Today's Guest is LINDA HOPE Vice President of Hope Enterprises producer of his specials, including the 3-hour, Emmy Award-winning Bob Hope - The First 90 Years and his last show for NBC, Laughing With the Presidents. She wrote and produced a two-hour A&E Biography on her father, Bob Hope, “America’s Entertainer.” In 2003, she wrote and produced the Emmy nominated, "Bob Hope: 100 Years of Hope and Humor" which aired on NBC in conjunction with her dad’s 100th Birthday. Linda also wrote,Bob Hope: My Life in Jokes (Hyperion) to commemorate 100 years of a remarkable life. On Tuesday, October 12, 2010, Linda and her family including her brother Kelly Hope, and grandchildren Miranda Hope, Zachary Hope and Andrew Hope Lande will carry on the family Legacy, along with invited guests from the worlds of theater, film, TV and comedy as they gather for the formal dedication of the newly refurbished Bob Hope Memorial Library located in the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island. Those in attendance will witness a ribbon cutting ceremony, brief heartfelt speeches and musical performances (including Michael Feinstein singing "Thanks For The Memory") to celebrate the re-opening. New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg is issuing a proclamation for the occasion and his Honor will be represented by NYC Commissioner of Immigration, Fatima Shama.
