Bread of Life: "My New Outfit" - Sister Trenita Thomas

Special Guest, Trenita Thomas will share the message “My New Outfit”. This message centers on our need to recognize that we’ve been given a “change of clothes” as declared in Isaiah 61:3 and Psalm 30:11. She will also share her personal testimony of deliverance from depression...that old cloak called the spirit of heaviness.

She was born and raised in Washington D.C. and although she was raised in the church, she did not accept and receive Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior until the age of 32.  Since that time, Trenita has gone on to serve the Lord in many capacities, ministering through song in the choir, sharing/singing/praying at various nursing homes as well as at a women’s shelter in D.C.   In addition, Trenita serves a  Women’s group called S.W.A.G. which stands for Sisters With A Glow - the name taken from Exodus 34:29 (The Message version - When Moses came down from Mount Sinai carrying the two Tablets of The Testimony, he didn't know that the skin of his face glowed because he had been speaking with God ) that was formed in September of 2011. The group meets on Tuesday nights and has been instrumental in bringing about healing for women, married and single alike. To God be all the Glory. Trenita is a member of Remnant Ministries where the Pastor is Gary Thomas who just happens to be her dad.
