Adoration with Evangelist Mac and Featured Guest, Pastor Larry Thompson, Jr.

Pastor Larry Thompson, Jr. serves as the Senior Pastor of The Upper Room Worship Center, Inc. which is located in Parkville, MD. He is the devoted husband of Jenita K. Thompson. Together, they have two daughters, Kayla and Karis Thompson.He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of six and has been active in various ministries ever since. At the age of seventeen, he began teaching discipleship classes and eventually became an instructor for the Bible Institute of Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries. At the age of nineteen, Pastor Thompson became a Lay-Minister and was eventually licensed to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in March of 2002.

As a native Baltimorean, Pastor Thompson was educated in the Baltimore City School System. He graduated from the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1998. He then attended Morgan State University for two years majoring in Accounting. Feeling the call of the Lord, Pastor Thompson matriculated to the Washington Bible College in Lanham, MD.  After seminary, Pastor Thompson served for over two years in full-time ministry in the areas of counseling and visitation. In 2008, he fulfilled his long time dream by founding The Upper Room Worship Center, Inc. 

Pastor Larry has a heart for community development from a holistic perspective and is a dynamo for Christ and for the people of Baltimore.
