Gloria J Covington is a former Senior Bioengineer in the field of applied Immunochemistry research.  Her research included the development of various immunochemistry-based detection systems and has co-authored  scientific publications and patents in this field.  She is also a singer/songwriter/musician who writes Contemporary Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Praise & Worship music.  She is primarily an electric guitarist who plays with the CBC Praise band at Colonial Baptist Church (Randallstown, MD), but has also studied and plays acoustic guitar, bass guitar and keyboard.  She is a member of TAXI, the world’s largest independent A&R company.
