SPIRIT OF SOLSTICE CONCERT. A magical musical evening of seasonal Celtic and original folk music, poetry, and song celebrating the Goddesses of Winter, with mountain dulcimer recording artist, Ruth Barrett and percussionist Jenn Valleley.

Winter Solstice is the time of conception for the solar cycle within the womb of the Goddess, inviting us to come into resonance with the rebirth of Spirit within the land and Her people while the Earth rests and waits for renewal in its time. For Her peoples, Solstice is a time of faith and hope, of drawing together in the darkness for comfort and support, to strengthen our inner light, and to vision together for a year of peace, healing, prosperity, and joy for all. Ruth Barrett is a fretted dulcimer recording artist, singer, and songwriter and award winning recording artist of original Goddess songs. Her numerous recordings have been among the pioneering musical works in the pagan and Goddess Spirituality Movements.
