ast spring, a few of us Southern Pagans were gathered at a local festival discussing the various conferences and festival goings-on.  Which part of the world would we be travelling to next?

During that discussion, it became very clear that we all wished for a Southern-based conference – one that was not only easier to attend but also had a Southern flair and spoke of the mystic spirit of our own part of the country. Since there is no such event to meet that need, we decided to create it.
