Born in Australia, Margaret Sinclair has lived more than half her life in Dallas since moving to the US in ’71. She began her career in Australia as a registered nurse, midwife and pediatric nurse. Her work in neonatal pediatrics led to her designing a positioning product for premature babies. Margaret was awarded 7 patents by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for inventions related to patient and infant positioning. In 2005 she sold one of her patents and her medical manufacturing business and retired…or so she thought!
