Occupational Therapist Annmarie DeMarco on Healthy Habits on Word of Mom Radio

Annmarie DeMarco is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist. She owns a private practice where she provides in home pediatric occupational therapy services to young adults, children, toddlers, and infants. Annmarie takes a holistic approach to treatment; during each session she is constantly evaluating overall development, sensory processing, and the child’s environment in order to help her clients and their families to achieve their goals. 

Annmarie is passionate about educating caregivers and parents with regard to their child’s sensory processing needs while improving overall gross and fine motor development. Annmarie’s goal as an occupational therapist is to ultimately improve a child’s independence with their activities of daily living such as; play, sleep, meal time, bath time, family outings, and dressing.  She specializes in working with toddlers with autism spectrum disorder and infants who were born prematurely.
