God is not looking for perfection, but your direction - Romans 8
It's not about what you have done, is doing or don't do - It's all about what He has done!
When we take a good look at this scripture the word condemnation catches our attention. The Bible speaks so much of condemnation because of the sin of mankind: “Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear”. In the Bible, the word condemnation is synonymous with damnation, judgment, punishment, destruction, and verdict. In its strongest sense, condemnation means “the eternal damnation to all those who never accept His Son, by rejecting with disobedient to the will of God”. 1 Timothy 2:4 speaks to the will of God when it says: Who will that all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. God knew we couldn’t or wouldn’t be prefect before and after sin entered the world. That’s why He not looking for our perfection but our direction.
When you accept Christ as your Savior, your sins are all taken away by the blood of Jesus and when God see you He no longer see your sins, but His Son, He sees you as righteous because the righteousness of God has been extended to you by what was accomplished on the cross by Christ.
