Interview with photographer and game changer Joe Standart about his community art project which involves taking portaits of the residents of New London, CT then blowing up those portraits into murals that are placed on buildings throughout the city, giving the buildings the kind faces of the people of the city.
It is an AMAZING project that connects people and place and is a celebration of humanity. It all starts off with the way Joe is able to connect with each person he takes a picture of and builds from there. The latest phase of this project involves taking pictures of those who immigrated to our country and now live in New London.
Please tune in to hear about this wonderful story that is being created, a story that connects back with and expands upon the spirit our country is built upon. For more info on Joe's work please check out his kickstarter project,
