Season Premiere: Interview With Donn Weaver: Many Steps For Many Vets:

Donn Weaver, a former army infantry officer, retired career foreign service officer and Gold Star Father, now spends his time supporting veterans and the causes that impact veterans and their families.  He and his wife, Jeanne Harris Weaver, have been married 46 years and raised four children all over the world during his almost 40 years of federal government and contract service.  On 09 Sep 2010, their youngest son, Army 1LT Todd William Weaver fell in combat in Afghanistan during an attack on the Taliban enemy in their birthplace in Kandahar.  Now as Chairman of the Expansion Committee of the Veterans Memorial Center of Brevard County near Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and President of the largest Military Officers Association of America Chapter in the country, Donn “never stops serving”.  After travel to more than 100 countries, learning five foreign languages and representing America in the Army and as a career diplomat.
