Part Sinner, Part Saint with Aphasiana and Babbler
in Poetry
"Good and evil are not black and white. We all have a mix of naughty and nice. Poetry allows us to explore our dark sides and find our way to the light. I celebrate people who, like the founder of the show, recognize they are on a dangerous path and make the difficult adjustments to be an amazing person. Share poems that reveal the duality of our vulnerability and strength. Capture the internal battle of the demon and angel on your shoulders. Deep poetry, thoughtful commentary and fun chatter for sinners, saints and everyone in between. "

A Good Story Is A Good Story - Host Marsha Casper Cook
in Books
Please join Marsha Casper Cook on October 16 at NOON EST 11CST 10MT 9PST when she is joined by authors Nicole Disney and Kimberly Cooper Griffin for a great discussion about love and relationships. .
ABOUT THE BOOK EXPOSURE : Jax Bailey has built a successful career photographing famous women, but she’s blocked creatively and frustrated by her inability to hold on to a romantic relationship.
Trace Logan is independent to a fault but somehow failed to launch. The daughter of a career army mother, she’s moved around so much she doesn’t have a place she calls home, and she longs to return to school in pursuit of becoming a film editor. Working as a delivery driver, her dream seems impossible.
After reading about the gig economy, Jax’s search for a new perspective that can renew her passion, professional and personal, inspires her to break out of her rut by seeing the city through the eyes of a delivery driver. When Trace shows her the ropes, a spark ignites between them. Their differences in age and direction caution them to keep it casual, but what happens when everything they expose just pulls them closer together?

Double Helix with Aphasiana & Dan Dischino
in Poetry
Like tempered steel glowing red in a bed of coals the poet is born. Our story is riddled with challenges and changes like blows from a blacksmith's hammer. Bent and chiseled into shape, if only forging a poet were that easy. Emotional development, relationships, experiences, environment, and genetics all take a hand in molding the immature adult we are today. That was a joke, c'mon loosen up a little, we are on the air! So welcome to the Double Helix, where we examine the X's and Whys on a show celebrating the human experience. Where your true colors are what ties the room together, so get comfortable, cause what you’re about to hear is poetry that we are made of. https://allpoetry.com/Aphasiana https://allpoetry.com/Daniel_Dischino

About Art
As Sondheim wrote, "Art isn't easy," but listening to people across the globe talk about it is! Our selection of shows that fall under the art umbrella is unparalleled, because we've got the world's most beloved authors, most talked-about actors and truly groundbreaking artists discussing their work, their influences and the creative process. On any given day, join in conversation with bestselling novelists, with museum curators on major fine art exhibits, with directors and writers whose films are the talk of Sundance or Cannes, with newsmakers whose latest works are changing the face of photography, mixed media or interior design. Spoken word is also voiced here, and other forms of poetry, as are journaling, crafts and more. Yes, BlogTalkRadio is bursting with self-expression; so if you've got a creative passion you'd like to share with the world, why not host your own show? We'll have you know, that part is easy.
