“Do you believe we can completely transform ourselves?” Teena did not ponder that question much until the day her 23-year old son, Chase sudden transition on August 3, 2014. Which was just one month after my son Kyle’s transition. I actually had a Memorial Celebration for Kyle on the day of Chase’s transition.

As a mom, the transition of her son Chase was inexpressible and unbearable. That day, her life took a vast shift; it brought her to her knees and little mattered to her from that point forward. Teena experienced grief from Chase’s transition for a few years afterward.
