Birth Mother Matters in Adoption Episode 34: Adoptive Parent Hospital Information

Important things to know:
After delivery, the baby is banded and the birthmother receives a band and the adoptive mother receives a band; as only two are issued in addition to the baby. In order for there to be “re-banding” it requires two hospital personnel. After consents the baby is re-banded and both adoptive parents receive a band .
