An adoption family profile is a book that the adoptive family creates for the birth parents so that they can get to see who you are, what you are all about and what kind of a family that you are.  A traditional family profile book may include:

  • a letter to the birth mother/father 
  • photos and details about your:
    • family 
      • immediate family
      • extended family
    • home
    • likes/dislikes
    • hobbies
    • pets
    • and more

When creating an online adoptive family profile, it is much less information and usually a very condensed version.  Learn about the pros and cons and upsides and downsides of a online platform.
