BTC host Kathy Barrett interviews Bob Calvert, the founder and host of the "Talking with Heroes" talk show and the editor of online news site, www.thankyouforyourservice.us.

Bob never served in the military himself. However, he comes from a military family, one with a history that dates back to WWII. His daughter, whom Bob raised alone, enlisted in the US Army at 18 years old.

In December 2005, Bob started the "Talking with Heroes" talk show at the suggestion of a Special Forces Sergeant. Bob interviewed active duty military personnel as well as veterans and Gold Star families. As a result of Bob's dedication to the nation's finest citizens, you can take part in Bob's call to action: Adopt Our Troops' Progress Stories campaign - American Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
