Extraordinary performers, songwriters and producers, Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson appeared as guests on Topically Yours hosted by Deardra Shuler. The couple talked about their latest release THE REAL THING and their single SOLID AS BARACK, during the time of the show recording.  The single was released Inaugeration Day, Jan. 20th. The duo are best known for writing the hits: You're All I Need To Get By", Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand, Gimme Something Real, I'm Every Woman," "Solid" and numerous others.
