Host Deardra Shuler talks with vocalist Jann Parker who will be appearing at the Garage located on 7th Avenue South and Christopher Street in NYC on March 8th and March 17th in Harlem at Tian at the Riverbank on 145th and Riverside Drive. Parker will discuss her music, the business of music, and her CDs Masterpieces and Voicings. Ms. Parker was the feature vocalist worked with the Bob Cunningham Trio, Larry Ridley Jazz Legacy Ensemble, Spirit of Life Ensemble, Ron Anderson's Versatile, the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra and in clubs like Swing 46, Sweet Basils, Greene Street Cafe, West Bank Cafe, St. Peter's Church, the Rainbow Room,Smalls Paradise and the New Cotton Club. She has worked in Eastern Europe and also with artists such as Grady Tate, Randy Weston and Leon Thomas.
