Host Deardra Shuler talks to Latin actress Patricia Rae on her "Topically Yours" show.
Patricia was raised in Queens by her grand-mother who ran a boarding house while Patricia's mother worked. Bitten by the acting bug, Rae earned a series of awards in regional and state wide competitions with her drama troupe. Her first professional job was opposite Don Johnson in the hit TV series “Miami Vice." Her persistence and determination to forge her career is one of her biggest assets. Who can forget her groundbreaking role in the Oscar nominated feature film "Maria Full of Grace" which earned her critical acclaim along with a prestigious Imagen Award nomination. Rae resides in Los Angeles and is an accredited Power Flow Yoga teacher providing classes twice a week to students of all ages in Studio City, California.

Currently, Rae is filming the romantic comedy "The Wedding" with Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton, Susan Sarandon, Katherine Heigl, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, Ben Barnes and Robin Williams in Connecticut. Rae portrays "Madonna Sotto," the biological Ecuadorian mother of Alejandro Griffin played by British actor Ken Barnes.
Lionsgate will release The Wedding in October 2012.
