Host Deardra Shuler talks with Palmer Williams, Jr., best known as Floyd from the House of Payne about his role in the upcoming Beacon Theatre presentation of Tyler Perry's "The Haves and The Have Nots. "

Palmer Williams Jr., is a veteran of the theatre industry who has had starring roles in the Tyler Perry plays "The Marriage Counselor," and "Laugh to Keep From Crying." He was also featured in both the play and film version of Tyler Perry's "Madea's Big Happy Family."  To date, Tyler Perry has written, directed and produced 17 stage plays. He also collaborated efforts with Bishop T.D. Jakes on Jakes' stage plays "Woman, Thou Art Loosed" and "Behind Closed Doors."

Written, directed and produced by Tyler Perry, The Haves and The Have Nots" star Palmer Williams Jr. and Cassi Davis and is Tyler Perry's " latest theatrical offering.

"The Haves and The Have Nots" debuts in New York on Thursday, April 5, 2012 and runs through Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the Beacon Theatre, located at  2124 Broadway @ 74th Street in New York.
