Host Deardra Shuler talks with singer, songwriter and producer Stevie B who was influential in the Latin freestyle and HI-NRG dance music scene of the late 1980s.  Stevie B will perform in Forever Freeystyle 8 alongside Lisa Lisa, TKA/K7, Safire, Cynthia, Johnny O, Lydia Lee Love, Nayobe, Sammy Zone and Fonda Rae at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx on Saturday, March 1 at 8 pm.                                                                                                                                                                                Freestyle music (Hip Hop and Disco) was at its zenith in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. STEVIE B skyrocketed to fame with "Party Your Body," which went gold. A Florida native, his first Top-40 hits in 1989 were "I Wanna Be the One," "In My Eyes," and "Love Me for Life. He was also known as the “King of Freestyle.” His ballad “Because I Love You (The Postman Song)  from 1990’s Love & Emotion remained #1 for 4 weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100.
