JacQuie Peters-Coleman, Author of the Children’s book THE MAN WITH THR BLUE PANTS-wife, mother, and business owner of many. Born and raised in Chicago, IL where she completed her bachelors in Pre-Law concentration and English from DePaul University. Raised in a Christian upbringing with an unapologetically understanding of what it means to be a Black woman and a Haitian American resident of the United States, her late grandfather Pastor Jacques Mom premier, Her late grandmother First Lady Marie Alvarez-Mom premier and the Rev. Jeremiah A Wright, Jr. Pastor Emeritus from Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago’s South Side JacQuie is sure a strong minded and empowered human being. She is the founder or New Sisterhood ATX established June 2020 which has already reached over 200 members and growing. With years of experience as the 2nd oldest of 11 children her mother definitely has given her lifelong tools to be steadfast and hardworking no matter what society tries to depict.
