Reinventing Yourself in the Face of Social Crisis

    in Entrepreneur

Thus far, 2020 has not given us 2020 vision of the future. In fact, within the first five months, it has been filled crisis after crisis of epic proportions. We started with conversations to impeach the president of the United States. Shortly thereafter we moved to a virus that forced a global quarantine and left many people stuck indoors and unemployed. As that appeared to be stabilizing, a man was murdered by the police. That sparked nationwide protests, riots and increased racial tensions. It would seem only a Hollywood movie could pack so much action into a short timeframe. While all of this tumult is occurring, people are raising families, working, creating new relationships, having children and attempting to find themselves in a new world. Some are navigating the intensity better than others. For these trying times, The Creative Alchemist welcomes someone who can lend the kind of expertise required to make sense of it all. More importantly, she can provide guidance on how to best care for yourself and loved ones in a new multi crises environment. Her name is Julie Hernandez, BA, ICADC-R, Certified Life Coach. For over 40 years, she has worked with people in areas of addiction and trauma. Her most recent focus has been in the area of reinventing yourself. Since 2020 has become a multi crisis universe, reinventing yourself has become the new normal. She will help us better manage ourselves, family, money and careers in a way our parent and grandparents never imagined. Therefore, they could not have prepared us.

The Succulent Source is one of the top distributors of succulents in the entire nation. The San Diego-based company is comprised of Lora and Darren Irwin and their five sons under the age of 13, plus newly adopted two year-old daughter. They supply to Wal-Mart, Home Depot and the Magnolia Marketplace, among others.

Though on a far smaller level, they're finding instant success with these kits and are now expanding to create new ones. This rugged and loving family are survivors who will continue to flex and grow throughout this challenging time.
