Tune in to Eyes Wide Open: DemBlogTalk on BlogTalk USA (and visit DemBlogNews) for current events in the news and politics as well as updates and analysis on both sides of the political isle as we journey along the campaign trail to Election 2016!

Tonight we will talk with Collin County's new Elections Administrator, Bruce Sherbert, to talk about election technology, vote anywhere voting centers, and planning for the presidential election coming up this fall. Under full disclosure, Michael Handley is an election judge in Collin County and so am a county elections employee during each election period. Bruce took over the Collin County (Texas) post last December, after serving as the Dallas County Elections Administrator from January 1987 to March 2011, and then the Ellis County administrator until last December.  Like many county election administrators around the United States, Bruce faces some challenges planning for the election this fall, and future elections.
