The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:14 KJV But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

So when people say there’s no such thing as free will or that God is simply a construct of our minds it’s because they are foolishness to the natural man and that’s because they are spiritually blind and slaves to sin.
