Greg Dwyer on Building Fortunes Radio

What does not last?  Many things I would say.  All things change and all things come to an end.  Life itself for all of us will change and come to an end.  The same can be said of all relationships.  Last year I took a trip to Ireland.  That trip did not last.  The sales position I had at a New York college came to an end.

The great feelings you may have at a Tony Robbins event or any other seminar will not last.  It is not possible to sustain it and why would you?

Most experts tell us that the rush of emotions from a sales event or conference only last 48 hours and for most people those feelings are gone before they board their flight for home.

Just because something does not last, does not mean that we should not invest in those areas.  Is it possible to have an epiphany at an event and put it into practice Monday morning?  I would say it is rare because most people go back to their old familiar patterns, but that does not mean you cannot beat the odds.

You can beat the odds, but even that will not last.  That's fine because being in the game and growing and giving back is why you play the game.  According to Simon Sinek, the game is infinite and that is why we play, until we are done.
