The Making of A Slave - Progression or Regression

Progression or Regression - The Making of a Slave....... Last week we introduced The Willie Lynch document of 1712, a letter written to introduce to slave owners a method of solving their problems with their slaves. Lynch went on to advise that if implemented, his plan would control the slaves for at least 300 hundred years.  Lynch believed that after receiving, this indoctrination shall carry on and will become SELF-GENERATING by the slaves for hundreds of years.  This year 2012 marks the end of the 300 year Lynch cycle.   This week we will discuss the following sections of the letter:  The Making of a Slave and Cardinal (Basic) Principles for Making a Negro.  How many of us really understand the timeless message of Dr. Martin Luther King in contrast with Willie Lynch’s prediction of self generating hatred? Where does the dream end and the nightmare begin?  Tonight is yet another night about coming together as one in honesty about slavery and the effect of slavery then and now.  Slavery had a major effect on the African American race as well as the Human Race.  Tune in Monday January 30, at 8 PM CST as we explore this topic in great detail.
