PRESENTS

Dr. Auburn E. Ellis  is a visual artist based in Chicago, with global experience, in the implementation and development of various curriculum and instruction methods utilizing the arts.

She is currently involved in a project in conjunction with Onli Studios that provides workshops based on the utilization of graphic novels for classroom instruction.

Graphic novels are not only a tool for art based approaches to learning, in the case of the Black Age of Comics, which was launched in Bronzeville, they also serve as a medium for transmitting positive diverse cultural messages.

Find out how you can participate in this unique opportunity to work in this tandem.

These workshops grant ISBE CPDUs for certified Illinois educators.
