DeMetris Sampson is board chair and Frances Smith-Dean is executive director of the nonprofit Zan Wesley Holmes, Jr. Community Outreach Center. They will discuss how the center serves the community and the various programs it offers. The center’s primary mission is “creating self-sustaining pathways out of poverty for young people and families in Dallas through education and job placement.” The center places an emphasis on South Dallas and the Southeastern sector of Dallas.
