In 1970, 70.3% of African-Americans between the ages of 20 and 54 were married. In 2008, it was less than 39.6%, according to the National Center on African American Marriages and Parenting. In 1960, 22% of African-American kids grew up in single-parent homes. As of 2013, 55% grew up without two parents.  The breakdown of the black family is even greater than before.   Join us in discussing African American Culture and how families have been impacted.
