Before arriving in LA, Donald was booking comedy shows in the Bay area at places such as Brainwash Café, Punchline, Tommy T’s and various other clubs around San Francisco and Vallejo. He also was part of an Improv show called Almost Average. He wrote sketches and performed in the group as well.

He was also part of a sketch comedy group called Off the Hook that he created, wrote and performed in. Once he got to LA he performed at The Comedy Store, The Green Room, The Improv and other clubs and coffee houses around L.A.
