12/21/2012 - Seize the Day - With God's Gumshoe and Watson

Who are God's Gumshoe and his youthful cohort Watson?  We've heard that they are lurking in spiritual chat rooms and spreading a message of hope about the future of the world, so we invited them on the show.

They are saying that the world isn't really coming to end. Do you believe that?  The Urantia Book emphatically states that our world is even now, "quivering on the very brink of one of its most amazing and enthralling epochs of social readjustment, moral quickening, and spiritual enlightenment." It provides a message of hope and faith that is unparalleled in these troubling times. The Gumshoe is asking us to seize the day and start spreading the good news. He says this is our chance, our prime opportunity. Do you agree?  If you do, and even if you don't, we hope you'll call in and join the conversation.

His youthful friend Watson is poised and ready to "espouse the Master's program" for "thousands of apparently indifferent youths" who will "rush forward to enlist in such a spiritual undertaking" and will "not hesitate to go all the way through with this great adventure."  Why? Because they know they have a future! Will we sign on with these two brave and adventurous souls? Are they right?  Is the time now? Is the hour ripe?

The Urantia Book's spiritual message is "throbbing with new life and new meanings. Those who accept this teaching are filled with joy and in their hearts are constrained to rejoice evermore.
