Government on a Neighboring Planet I—Continental Nation, Political & Home Life

This Saturday, Paula, Christilyn, André, and Derek begin the exploration of the revelation of a continental nation on a "not far-distant planet" of our local system—a region having a radius of 30-to-50 light-years—of inhabited worlds.  The revelators state that the "similarity of the two spheres undoubtedly explains why permission to make this extraordinary presentation was granted, for it is most unusual for the system rulers to consent to the narration on one planet of the affairs of another."

They are not just trying to satisfy our curiosity about extra-terrestrials.  They presume a student of the revelation is far beyond mere UFO or E.T. curiosity.
These are fellow human beings with a rich human culture, history, and life; not unlike ours.

In telling us "something of the social, moral, and political life" about this advancing culture, the author is trying to give those reading it something of an alternate view of human culture and give us a sense of where ours may be headed, or could be headed, by contrast.  This should be a thrilling discussion of some intriguing and challenging ideas.
